The 1:1 Mentoring Program facilitates one-to-one mentoring relationships that connect mentees with leaders at Valley Water to learn, develop, and grow. Mentoring helps both the mentor and mentee expand networks, gain new knowledge and insights, and build new skills. 

Additionally, by participating in the 1:1 Mentoring Program, mentors/mentees contribute towards the "Succession & Talent Development" goal in their EDPP goals (https://aqua.valleywater.org/cultivate-succession-initiative).  

The 1:1 Mentoring Program has two (2) connection options for Mentees and Mentors - A long-term 6-month mentoring connection or a one-time connection.  The 6-month mentoring connection is ideal for career growth, succession planning, knowledge transfer, etc. whereas the one-time connection is ideal for asking a very specific question or working out a specific problem.
